July 11 <br /> <br />3:15 p.m.-4:45 p.m. <br /> <br />Hazardous Materials Issues <br />As Part of Disaster Events <br /> <br />Jim Knoy and Mary Ahlstrom <br />FEMA Region vm <br />Environmental Protection Agency <br /> <br />A panel of local, State and Federal officials will discuss and respond to questions concerning <br />hazardous materials incidents triggered by natural and technological hazard disasters or events. <br />Topics will include environmental health concerns that need to be addressed today; handling of <br />orphan containers and flood debris; roles and authorities at local, state and federa11evels; <br />information resources that are available to responders; and incident command issues.
