In ple.l')ury sessions and <br />small group discussions, participants will addrHs themselves to answering two important <br />questions: <br /> <br />Has this disaster generally changed flash jlood vulnerability in the United States and <br />globally? <br /> <br />Have technological advances and legi5'/ative changes influenced forecasting, awareness, <br />and loss potential? <br /> <br />'. <br /> <br />You will find in your book a final agenda, information regarding the hotel, vendors and/or <br />sponsors, information about the City of Fort Collins, copies of the abstracts and a participant <br />list. <br /> <br />Please take time to review the contents of your Symposium materials and familiarize yourselves <br />with the location of the session rooms. <br /> <br />A proceedings volume will be published fv!low:ng the Symposium by the University of Colorado <br />Hazards Information Center as a Special Publication. <br /> <br />We have included an Evaluation Form in your Symposium book. We would appreciate it if you <br />could fill out this form following the completion of the Symposium. Completed forms should be <br />dropped off at the registration table. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />We appreciate your participation in the Symposium and we are all looking forward to the <br />learning experience over the next two days! <br />
