<br />DESIGNATION AND APPROVAL ACTION <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Colorado Water Conservation Board in <br />regular meeting assembled in Denver, Colorado, this 23rd day of November 1998, that it does <br />hereby recognize that there are local stonn drainage areas within the community of Platteville but it <br />agrees with FEMA's previous detennination that there are "No Special Flood Hazard Areas" within <br />the community for the pwposes of federal regulation and the National Flood Insurance Program; <br />and <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Colorado Water Conservation Board, after <br />appropriate review, has chosen to officially acknowledge and rescind as approximate floodplain <br />infonnation the stonn or floodwater runoff channels or basins within the Town of Platteville <br />described by approximate infonnation on said map dated January 16, 1976; and <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Colorado Water Conservation Board does hereby <br />recommend to the community that prudent land use decisions, building regulations, and planning <br />studies be implemented by the Town ofPlatteville; and <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Board is directed to send a <br />certified copy of this resolution to the Town of Platteville; the Board of County Commissioners of <br />Weld County; the Colorado Office of Emergency Management; and the Federal Emergency <br />Management Agency, Region 8. <br /> <br />CERTIFICATE <br /> <br />I certify that the foregoing is a true and correct copy of a resolution adopted by a majority <br />vote of the members of the Colorado Water Conservation Board in regular session assembled at <br />Denver, Colorado, on the 23rd day of November 1998, at which a quorum was present. <br /> <br />~~ W. ~-~ <br /> <br />Peter H.
