<br />SITE A <br /> <br />MetbodolollY <br />. Nomographs <br /> <br />Results <br />. At least four 30" pipes <br />. Preferably in sump condition to localize flooding <br />. Automatic flap gates required on the river side of the pipes <br />. Additional Analysis will be required for final desiiJI <br /> <br />Pipe Placement <br />. Place two pipe just south of EastlWest running channel just east of intersection of S. 6th Ave. <br />I Benton and two pipes at the southern area of 100-yr levee tie in. (see plate 1 plan view for <br />location of pipes) <br />. VERTICALLY: <br />- Pipe inlets should be placed so as to produce a sump condition <br />- North area: The existing channel invert elevation will be a determining factor in the invert <br />of the pipe and the distance from the pipe to the tie in point of the channel. The ditch and <br />pipe slope should remain at no less than 1 %. <br />- South area: The southern limit of the 1000yr levee tie in near a low, channel shaped area. <br />Pipes should be place in invert ofIow point and ditch dug from outlet to river. Again, pipe <br />and ditch slope should remain at no less than 1 %. <br />. Will need further analysis for final design <br /> <br />Cost & Ouantities <br />.
