SITE C

Level of protection

l00-yr protection
. Inspected and approved. Permit claims no impact to 1000yr water surface elevation or
impact to floodplain boundaries.
. Height oflevee for 100-yr level of protection would need to be approximately 1339.5
(used FIS flood profiles to determine)
. May need to continue levee on North side of property from hill (northwest comer of
property) East to East St. to attain l00-yr level of protection.
. May also need to tie in levee to South at a higher elevation by tying into East Street or
wrapping levee to North

SOO-yr protection
. Inadequate information to determine level of protection against 500-yr event due to
mapping inconsistencies
. Height oflevee for 500-yr level of protection would need to be approximately 1343.5
(used FIS flood profiles to determine)
. May not be feasible to get 500-yr level of protection due to road elevation (East St.)

SITE C - page 2
