<br />. <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />FPR 92-327 <br /> <br />COLORADO WATER CONSERVATION BOARD <br />721 State Centennial Building <br />1313 Sherman Street <br />Denver, Colorado 80203 <br /> <br />September 15, 1992 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a repon entitled "Flood Insurance Study, Adams County, Colorado" <br />dated August 1978 has been prepared by the Federal Emergency Management Agency; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Colorado Water Conservation Board, as requested by Adams <br />County, Colorado and the Urban Drainage and Flood Control District by Resolution No. <br />153 adopted January 30, 1980, approved and designated floodplain described in said repon; <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a new repon entitled "Flood Insurance Study, Adams County <br />Unincorporated Areas" dated Decernber 15, 1989, has been prepared by the Federal <br />Emergency Management Agency; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, said new repon includes revised detailed floodplain information for the <br />following streams: <br /> <br />South Platte River <br />Third Creek <br />Hidden Lakes Drainageway <br /> <br />WHEREAS, said new repon provides detailed information that incorporates a new <br />hydraulic analysis for the South Platte River, incorporates channel rnodifications for Third <br />Creek, and incorporates a completed flood control project for Hidden Lakes Drainageway <br />not contained in that ponion of the floodplain repon previously designated by Resolution <br />No. 153 on January 30, 1980, relating to the reach of the South Platte River extending from <br />a point 760 feet downstream of the westbound lane of Interstate Highway 270 upstream to <br />the south boundary of Adams County; and relating to the reach of Third Creek <br />approximately 1690 feet long and located immediately downstream of 132nd Avenue; and <br />relating lO the reach of Hidden Lakes Drainageway approximately 0.8 mile long located just <br />south of West 67th Avenue; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Adams County, Colorado has requested the Colorado Water <br />Conservation Board to designate and approve the floodplains set fonh in the aforesaid new <br />repon; and <br />
