Standards for Delineation of Detalled Floodplain Information: "0 <br />qualify as detailed floodplain information, the standards of this <br />rule with consideration of the effects of dams and levees being <br />sUbject to the criteria of rules 7 and 8, respectively, must be met. <br /> <br />A. Topographic Base Mapping <br /> <br />1. Work MaD. The work map shall be a line drawing showing <br />contours and topographic features or an orthophoto map <br />showing contours on a photographic background. Work maps <br />with a photographic background prepared by conventional <br />rectification methods which meet the accuracy standards <br />described herein shall be acceptable. <br /> <br />2. Featurer.. The following minimum information shall be <br />shown on the work maps: <br /> <br />a. Natural features such as hi 11 s, depress ions, trees and <br />vegetation. <br /> <br />b. <br /> <br />Cultural features such as streets, roads, <br />railroads, airfields, levees, dikes, dams, <br />fences, powerlines, and other prominent <br />features and landmarks. <br /> <br />highways, <br />buildings, <br />man-made <br /> <br />c. <br /> <br />Hydrologic features such as rivers, <br />reservoirs, irrigation. ditches, canals, <br />(including both banks of a stream). <br /> <br />streams, 1 akes, <br />and channels <br /> <br />d.
