"Significant. change" means a change in a water surface <br />profile of 0.5 feet or more for a continuous distance of at <br />least 500 feet, a change of floodplain boundary effecting 5 <br />or more acres, a change in flood velocity of 2.0 feet per <br />second or more at any cross- section, or a potential for <br />damage to property greater than $500 due to a change in <br />water surface elevations or velocities. <br /> <br />30. .Water surface profile" means a graph which shows the <br />relationship between the vertical elevation of the top of <br />flowing water and of the streambed with the horizontal <br />distance along the stream channel. <br /> <br />31. "Work map" means the document used during the hydraulic <br />analysis which typically shows a greater level of detail or <br />information than the published or final flooded area map. <br /> <br />B. Terms Defined bv Statutes.
