For t~le towo end sect ion";,, the wo::-k <br />~~uld consist of placing suitable fill material on top of <br />the new levee at the same side slope, compacting it <br />properly, and then protecting it with rip-rap of 36 inches <br />in depth. <br /> <br />Stations 36+40 to 39+00 - Raise 260 feet of Bureau of <br />Reclamation levee an average of 1.25 feet (See <br />cross-section D-D). <br /> <br />Stations 39+00 to 42+00 <br /> <br />No ~urther work ~eeded. <br /> <br />Stations 42+00 to 42+40 - Raise 40 feet of Bureau o~ <br />Reclamation levee an average of 0.5 foot (See <br />cross-section D-D). <br /> <br />7th Street to 9th Street - (Stations 42+40 to 48+40) <br /> <br />This section lies between the two new sectio~s of levee <br />jllst completed by the Bureau of Reclamation. Theye is an <br />O:.Q levee section which is j,n a ba(J state of repai:-. It is <br />a~.so too low to provide aaequa~e ~~eeboard for 2 100-YEa~ <br />~J.ooa.
