conveyance calculations based on typical cross-sections scaled from the mapping,
or plotting against historical flood information. As site visits by Sear-Brown
Group staff are not presently anticipated, we would not propose to include
geomorphic features as a comparative floodplain method, although our staff can
provide this capability to the project if requested. For this available level of detail
and approximate delineation, we do not propose to complete supporting HEC-2 or
HEC-RAS computer modeling; however, review of supporting models prepared
previously could be included.

Reporting
The results of our review and analysis will be compiled in a Floodplain Information
Report (or suitable addendum document), as well as in a summary technical
memorandum to CWCB staff.

Comparable Projects
A selection of comparable floodplain hydrology and hydraulic projects is appended in this section.
These projects include the US287 design between Eads and Wiley, Colorado (incorporating
replacement of the SH196 Wiley Bridge); the Big Dry Creek Floodplain Improvements Project
between Huron Street and 1-25 for the City of Westminster; the Coal Creek Floodplain
Information Report for the Town of Crested Butte; and a floodplain delineation on a portion of the
Conejos River.

4
