<br />Dr. Lewis' background includes 28 years as a con-
<br />sulting engineer and 34 years of experience in water
<br />resources. Prior to entering consulting, Dr. Lewis
<br />served two years in federal government and ten
<br />years on the faculty of the University of Nebraska
<br />at Lincoln (UNL) as an Assistant and Associate
<br />Professor of Civil Engineering, including five years
<br />of research administration experience at UNL as
<br />Assistant and Acting Director of the Nebraska Wa,
<br />tel' Resources Research Institute, He has authored
<br />more than 400 publications and reports in water
<br />resources, hydrology, and hydraulics, and is the co-
<br />author of four editions of a leading university text-
<br />book, Introduction to Hydrology, used in several
<br />dozen universities. The manuscript for another text,
<br />Principles of Hydrology, has recently been com-
<br />pleted, He has authored portions of the ASCE
<br />manual on Ethics of Expert Testimony, and is often
<br />called to serve as an expert witness on water rights,
<br />hydrology, hydraulics and drainage issues.
