<br />., <br /> <br />- 2- <br /> <br />Attorney General requested, and the Board authorized the expenditure of up to $250,000 for costs <br />associated with hiring a historian, creating an imaged database, and for other travel and related costs to . <br />prepare for litigation with the basin states and the federal govemment involving the Colorado River and <br />the law of the river, Of this amount, $100,000 has been committed to a contract with a historian. We <br />expect that the remaining $150,000 will be expended through imaging contracts and other travel costs in <br />the very near future. Finally, the Office of the Attorney General requested, and the Board authorized the <br />expenditure of $750,000 for costs associated with complying with the litigation between Kansas and <br />Colorado on the Arkansas River.
