. III

III

~~

additional evidence incident to
the development of the Upper Colorado
River Basin, contemplates substantially
strengthening its legal and engineering
staff.

Accordingly we commend the UPPER COLORADO
RIVER COMMISSION for the steps along this
line it has already taken and most respect-
fully recommend that its legal and engi-
neering staffs be augmented further.

We take this position because we believe
strongly that vital phases of the Upper
Basin States and the Upper Colorado River
Commission should be better correlated and
integrated. We urge the Commission to work
with the Colorado Water Conservation Board
in these matters of mutual interest as closely
as it is possible.

Most respectfully submitted,

COLORADO WATER CONSERVATION BOARD"

MR.
