turn to the report from Region 7. Mr. Greer,
are you going to give that report? Oh, you
are, Jim. will you come up please and give
that?"

"~~. Chairman, members of the Board, guests,
you have, or at least the Board has, our writ-
ten r~port of activities of the past two months
but I'll try to give you a verbal rundown. I
think most important to all of us, particularly
to us and you too, will be some organizational
changes which we have recently consummated in
Region 7. Mr. ogilvie, as you probably know,
has been appointed Project Manager of the
Fryingpan-Arkansas Project and he has now
moved to Pueblo and taken charge of that work.
He is organizing his office at Pueblo along
with several construction offices at locations
on the weat,ern slope. The responsibility then,
for the Fryingpan-Arkansas investigational
work, has been transferred from our Denver
Oevelopment office to the Pueblo office. Some
of the work is still being done in this area
but the responsibility is transferred and the
work itself will be very shortly.

You p:.obably also, many of you at any
rate, saw in the newspapers that Pat Dugan
had been appointed our new Director in Region
7. He has been Director of Region 2 at Sacra-
mento for the past five or six years. Mr.
Dugan ~as in Denver last week and met with us
very G;,-:o;:tly and advised that he would probably
take c-"-,,;;:: :lis office about the lst of February.
In ths E:,';.:atime Mr. Paul Berg is the Acting
Direc~o~ of Region 7. Mr. Berg has been the
Proj,,"ct r.,,,nager at McCook, Nebraska. Mr. Berg
is with rn~ this morning. Paul, won't you
stand up ?.nd take a bow?"
