Hydrologic analyses which indicate that water is available for <br /> appropriation on the proposed stream reach <br /> . Specific information as to why the recommending entity has <br /> prioritized and recommended the stream or lake for protection <br /> under the ISF Program. <br />March 2006 A list of the stream reaches being recommended for appropriation are <br /> sent to the instream flow subscription mailing list and are noticed at the <br /> March Board meeting <br />February 2006 to Staff analyzes the information provided by the recommending cntities in <br />January 2007 order to provide the Board with accurate information to make the <br /> required findings as outlined in ISF Rule 5i. <br />March 2006 to Staff works with Board members and the public to identify concerns and <br />March 2007 develop solutions, <br />January 2007 Staff recommends that the Board form its intent to appropriate <br /> <br />As stated in the Instream Flow and Natural Lake Level Program Rules, all persons or entitics <br />interested in recommending stream reaches or natural lakes for inclusion in the ISF Program may <br />make recommendations at any time, Provided below is a list of recommending entities with a <br />summary of their stated objectives provided at the workshop. A complete list of the streams <br />recommended for inclusion into the Instream Flow Program is provided in Agenda Item 27 and also <br />on the CWCB web site at: http://cwcb.state,co,us/is:fJWorkPlan/200?Recommendations,htm, <br /> <br />· The BLM recommended streams in water divisions 2, 3, 4 and 6 to be included into the <br />Instream Flow Program with a 2007 appropriation date, The BLM is interested in obtaining <br />instream flow protection on streams flowing through BLM lands, especially those with <br />endangered or sensitive species, areas with high recreational values and uses, diverse fishery <br />or riparian communities and sufficient water quality to support fisheries, The BLM indicated <br />that they intend to recommend streams in water division 5 at the Instream Flow Workshop in <br />February 2007, <br />. Colorado Division of Wildlife-recommended two streams in water division 6, Yellow <br />Creek and Piceance Creek in Rio Blanco County, These will be joint recommendations with <br />BLM, The DOW indicated that they intend to recommend streams in water division 2 at the <br />Instream Flow Workshop in February 2007, <br />. Town of Mintum-recommended an enlargement of the existing instream flow appropriation <br />on the Eagle River from Cross Creek to Gore Creek. This recommendation was initially <br />presented at the 2005 ISF Workshop for a 2006 appropriation, The Town agreed to provide <br />for an additional year to allow more time for discussion and investigation, <br /> <br />Flood Protection.
