<br />- 2- <br /> <br />The Committee reviewed the Board's memorandum and attachments dated July 12, 2004. This . <br />assessment included review and comments of the CWCB's existing Floodplain Rules and Regulations <br />with an effective date of January 11, 1988. <br /> <br />The two operating objectives for the Committee are: <br />1. How to reasonably delineate the 100-year floodplain and place the 100-year flood limits on <br />floodplain maps using the CWCB criteria manual and the operating principles. <br />2. To what extent of involvement should floodplain administrative and management issues be <br />addressed in the new rules. <br /> <br />The Committee has conducted four work sessions reviewing and discussing the Floodplain <br />Rules and drafting language for the proposed revisions to these Floodplain Rules.
