The overall ditch is approximately II miles long and its headgate is located on the South <br />Platte River. The project is under design and is anticipated to be constructed in the fall of 2004. <br /> <br />21. South Side Irrigation Company - South Side Reservoir Rehabilitation <br /> <br />Authorization: Construction Fund County: Larimer - Near Loveland <br />Water Source: South Platte River Project Yield: 1,241 acre-feet <br />Tenns of Loan: $360,000 @ 3.10% for 30 yrs.Project Type: Reservoir Rehabilitation <br /> <br />The South Side Reservoir Company operates the South Side Reservoir, which provide irrigation water within a <br />1,590 acre service area. The South Side Reservoir is located approximately I mile southwest of the City of Loveland. <br />This $400,000 project involves rehabilitation of the outlet structure and spillway. These improvements will eliminate the <br />current storage restrictions imposed by the State Engineers Office. The project is currently under design and is scheduled <br />for construction in the fall of 2004 <br /> <br />22. Poudre Tech Metro District - Dual Water System <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Authorization: Construction Fund <br />Water Source: Cache La Poudre <br />Tenns of Loan: $2,180,000@4.75%for30-years <br /> <br />County: Weld <br />Project Yield: 740 acre-feet <br />Project Type: Water Supply <br /> <br />Poudre Tech Metro District, among other services, provides outside irrigation water for the Water Valley and <br />Hilltop Subdivisions, located in the Town of Windsor. The purpose of this project is to construct the infrastructure to <br />expand its services to supply outside irrigation water to an additional 1500 residential homes. The proposed construction <br />activities include the completion of two reservoirs with a combined storage capacity of 2,000 acre-feet, three pumping <br />plants, and the installation of 67,000 linear feet of4-inch to lO-inch irrigation pipe and associated valves, fittings, and taps. <br />The earthwork is currently under construction. Engineering design for the headgate, intake, and pumping facilities has been <br />completed. The project is currently on-hold pending possible de-authorization of the existing loan and the District <br />obtaining a new loan under a different applicant. <br /> <br />23. Little Thompson/Central Weld Water Districts - Reservoir Construction <br /> <br />Authorization: Severance Tax Perpetual Account <br />Water Source: South Platte <br />Tenns of Loan: $7,875,000@4.05%for20-years <br /> <br />County: Larimer <br />Project Yield: 5,200 acre-feet <br />Project Type: Reservoir Construction <br /> <br />The Little Thompson Water District and the Central Weld County Water Districts have a 50/50 partnership to <br />construct, own and operate a new reservoir (Dry Creek Reservoir). The proposed project, located approximately 2 miles <br />southeast of Carter Lake would include construction of a 5,200 acre-foot reservoir, including a 40-foot high earthen dam <br />with an emergency spillway and outlet works. Construction will also include converting an existing 20-inch treated line to <br />a raw water delivery line that will connect from the Filter Plant at Carter Lake to the new reservoir and the construction of a <br />5000 GPM pump station. This $10,500,000 project is currently under design and in the process of obtaining necessary . <br />permits and approvals. Project construction may be spring of 2005/06 depending on level of EP A requirements and <br />approvals. <br /> <br />24.
