The diversion and headgate are located on the South Platte River,
about one mile northeast of Fort Morgan. There are 97 junior irrigation wells under the Upper Platte and Beaver system. The
Company will cover the depletions of these wells by constructing two recharge ponds, to be filled from the Upper Platte and
Beaver Canal under the Company's 1972 augmentation decree. Stromberger Land and Cattle Company LLC - Augmentation Recharge

Authorization: $414,000
Water Source: South Platte Basin
Terms of Loan: $414,000@2.50%for20-years

County: Logan
Project Yield: 5,000 acre-feet
Project Type: Well Augmentation

The Stromberger Land and Cattle Company operates a family ranch located 15 miles south of Sterling, Colorado.
The ranch currently operates 12 wells that are augmented under the Groundwater Appropriators of the South Platte
(GASP). GASP operates on a year-to-year basis with no guarantee of continued coverage. The current drought conditions
have brought to the foreground the difficulty of providing augmentation for well users. The Stromberger's project will
provide its own augmentation water to protect itself against possible curtailment by GASP. Construction activities
include drilling 6 wells to pump water to a series of constructed recharge ponds in the winter months. The project is
approximately 95% complete.

.

10 Surface Creek Ditch and Reservoir Company - Hotel Dam Rehabilitation

Authorization: Small Project Loan Account
Water Source: Ward Creek
Terms of Loan: $265,00@2.80% for 30-years

County: Delta
Project Yield: 436 acre-feet
Project Type: Dam Rehabilitation

TIris $365,500 project involves the rehabilitation of Hotel (Twin) Reservoir, located on the Grand Mesa. Hotel
Reservoir is a Class I dam, with a dam height of 2 I-feet and a storage capacity of 549 acre-feet. Storage restrictions were
imposed by the State Engineer's Office due to a history of seepage problems. The project is currently under construction and is 95% complete. The project is
currently under review by the SEa's pending resolution of Case No. 03CV194, which stipulates certain conditions the
owner needs to adhere to in order to proceed with completion of the project.
