<br />. <br /> <br />Director's Report Attachment - September 14-15, 2004 Board Meeting <br />Water Supply Planning and Finance Section <br />Design and Construction Status Report <br /> <br />The CWCB Water Supply Planning and Finance Section has not completed any projects in FY 04-05 to-date. Currently for FY <br />04-05 we have 34 projects under construction and 29 projects in the design phase, involving over $109,000,000 in loan funds <br /> <br />The attached spreadsheet summarizes project status including budget, construction schedule, and progress to date. <br /> <br />The attached progress report briefly outlines all active project design and construction infonnation and progress to date. <br /> <br />Proiects Under Construction <br /> <br />1. Ogilvy Irrigation and Land Company - Dam Rehabilitation Project <br /> <br />Authorization: <br />Water Source: <br /> <br />Construction Fund <br />South Platte Basin <br /> <br />County: Weld <br />Project Yield: 16,000 acre-feet <br /> <br />Project Type: Dam Rehabilitation <br /> <br />Terms of Loan: $350,000 @2.25% for 20-years <br /> <br />The Ogilvy Ditch is located in Weld County east of Greeley and diverts water from the Cache La Poudre River. The <br />company is in the process of addresses safety issues along the dam, which include; replacement of the outlet pipe and gate <br />tower, new service spillway, leveling of the dam crest and placement of rip rap along the upstream face of the dam. Project <br />construction has been completed and is waiting on final SEO approval. Project substantial completion is tentatively scheduled <br />for September of20Q4. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />2. Fulton Irrigation Ditch Compaoy - Diversion Structure Rehabilitation Project <br /> <br />Authorization: Severance Tax Trust Fund <br />Water Source: South Platte River <br /> <br />Terms of Loan: $171,700@2.80%for20-years <br /> <br />County: Adams <br />Project Yield: 30,666 acre-feet <br /> <br />Project Type: Diversion Rehabilitation <br /> <br />The Fulton Irrigation Ditch, located in Adams County, owns and operates the Fulton Ditch to deliver direct flow <br />irrigation water for the benefit of the 220 shareholders. Water is diverted from the South Platte River to a 37,628-acre service <br />area. This project involves the rehabilitation of the Company's spillway diversion at an estimated cost of $200,000. Tetra <br />Tech, Longman\, Colorado completed the design in December of20Q4. Project construction commenced in January of 2004 <br />and was recently completed by Diamond Excavating, Arvada, Colorado in April of 2004. Project substantial completion is <br />schedule for September of 2004. <br /> <br />3. Terrace Irrigation Company - Reservoir Rehabilitation Project <br /> <br />Authorization: Severance Tax Trust Fund <br />Water Source: Alamosa River <br /> <br />Terms of Loan: $245,430 @ 2.50% for 30-years <br /> <br />County: Conejos <br />Project Yield: 15,339 acre-feet <br /> <br />Project Type: Reservoir Rehabilitation <br /> <br />The TIC, located in Conejos County, owns and operates the Terrace Reservoir to deliver direct flow irrigation <br />water for the benefit of the 27 shareholders. Water is stored in Terrace Reservoir from flows from the Alamosa River and <br />released downstream into the Alamosa River and diverted through Main Terrace Canal and the Alamosa Creek Canal. The <br />project involves the construction of a cofferdam to allow access to the outlet works, the removal and replacement of the <br />existing trash rack, debris and sediment removal within the outlet pipe, the repair of the existing double leaf 48-inch gate <br />valve in the west outlet tunnel, and general maintenance to the downstream ring-jet valve. Project construction was <br />completed in April of 2004 and is currently waiting on final SEO approval. Project substantial completion is scheduled for <br />September of 2004. <br /> <br />4.
