<br />Water Management Seminar: "Water 101 Y2 - Colorado Water Management and Local <br />Practical Applications - a seminar featuring Supreme Court Justice Greg Hobbs was held <br />on June 3 at the Lewis Arriola Community Center in Cortez. <br /> <br />Western State College Water Courses: Western Water History, Law and Politics (1 <br />credit course) is being offered at Western State College of Colorado in Gunnison July 20- <br />22,2005. Natural History of the Gunnison River Basin (2 credit course) will be offered <br />on July 22-26, 2005. For fee and schedule information contact George Sibley at <br />gsiblev (Q) \vesternedu. <br /> <br />Colorado Water Workshop: The 30th Annual Colorado Water Workshop will be held <br />in Gunnison at the Western State College on July 27-29. For fee, college credit, and <br />schedule information contact George Sibley at 970-943-2055 or \!siblev@westem.edu. <br /> <br />CWC Summer Convention: The 2005 Colorado Water Congress Summer Convention <br />will be held on August 25 and 26, 2005 at the Sheraton Steamboat Resort, Steamboat <br />Springs. Key members of the Governor's Cabinet have accepted CWe's invitation to <br />address the delegates; namely; Don Ament, Commissioner, Department of Agriculture; <br />Doug Benevento, Executive Director, Department of Public Health & Environment; and <br />Russ George, Executive Director, Department of Natural Resources. The featured <br />(invited) speakers for the Thursday lunch are Governor Bill Owens and Speaker of the <br />House Andrew Romanoff. The Friday meetings will have an update on the CWCB's <br />SWSI effort, plus CSU involvement in Water Issues. The Friday Luncheon speaker will <br />be Norm Semanko, President of the National Water Resources Association. For more <br />information visit 'V\V\V.co\vutercongress.org. <br /> <br />Colorado Water Congress - 24th Annual Water Law Seminar: The 24th Annual <br />CWC Seminar on Colorado Water Law will be held on September 26-27,2005 at the <br />Colorado Water Congress offices, 1580 Logan Street, Suite 400, Denver, Colorado. The <br />classes will be limited in size and will include several members of the State Legislature. <br />The registration fee is $650 for Colorado Water Congress members and $1,000 for non- <br />members. In 2004, this seminar was awarded 20 CLE general credits and 0.9 Ethics <br />credits. Please check on CWe's website at www.cowatercongress.org and click on <br />Meeting Notices where the program and registration forms will be posted as soon as <br />available. <br /> <br />Colorado Water Congress Workshops: All four of the workshops listed below will be <br />held in the Colorado Water Congress Conference Room, 1580 Logan St., Ste. 400, <br />Denver, Colorado. CLE credits have been applied for each seminar and workshop. The <br />CLE credits awarded during 2004 are shown in italics below.
