Anderson Named Chief Counsel to Governor Owens: On June 28, <br />Jonathan M. Anderson was named Chief Counsel to Gov. Bill Owens. Anderson was <br />working as an attorney with Hale Friesen, LLP. Prior to that he had served as the Deputy <br />Chief Counsel to Governor Owens. He replaces Gwen Benevento who left this month to <br />remain at home with a newborn daughter. <br /> <br />Anderson received a bachelor's degree in political from Colorado College and his juris <br />doctorate from the University of Colorado School of Law. He previously served as a law <br />clerk in the United States Attorney's Office and was an associate attorney with McElroy, <br />Deutsch & Mulvaney. <br /> <br />Colorado Water Officials Association Annual Meeting: The Colorado Water Officials <br />Association Annual Meeting will be held September 28-30, 2005 in Glenwood Springs. <br />The Program is Entitled "Compacts, Climates, and RICDs, OH MY!" <br /> <br />Program highlights include: <br /> <br />.
