Within one year of the date of the MOD, the CDOW will prepare a comprehensive <br />plan which will describe the process by which CDOW will identify declining species <br />and develop priorities for habitat improvement and the role of the NASF in species <br />recovery. CDOW will make the Comprehensive Plan available for public review and <br />comment prior to adoption. <br /> <br />. CDOW, the design engineer, and/or the construction contractor will be responsible <br />for obtaining all necessary federal, state and local approvals and permits for <br />construction and operation of the facility. <br /> <br />Selection of Desilm Enl!ineer <br />CWCB and CDOW staffs met in late February and selected the firm of fishPro of Port <br />Orchard, Washington as the design engineer for the project. FishPro prepared the 1993 <br />conceptual design report for the NASf. It is expected that the consultant will be under <br />contract and working by May I, 1998 and that all design work will be completed by April <br />1999.
