BARNARD: <br /> <br />"There is another matter we should <br />go to work on and that is the question <br />of the water congress suggested by the <br />Governor. I think we should set aside <br />some time and give this consideration." <br /> <br />MR. MOSES: <br /> <br />"We could appoint a committee at <br />this time to make a preliminary inves- <br />tigation and have a plan to present to <br />the Board. I think the Governor is <br />entitled to that. I have some doubts <br />as to what will be accomplished by such <br />a water congress but I think we should <br />go this far. We could plan a program <br />and invite representatives from dif- <br />ferent water organizations from all <br />over the State." <br /> <br />General discussion was held on this question, in- <br />cluding the possibilities of publishing different water <br />reports to be made available to interested parties. The <br />following motion was then made: <br /> <br />MR. STAPLETON: <br /> <br />"I would like to move that the Direc- <br />tor, our Attorney and Mr. W. M. Williams <br />meet with the Governor and secure his <br />ideas as to what this water congress <br />should cover and report their findings <br />back to this Board." <br /> <br />MR. BURR: <br /> <br />"Second the motion." <br /> <br />The motion was unanimously carried. <br /> <br />Dean Crawford then called attention to the copy <br />in each of the member's folders of the "Colorado Water Re- <br />sources Report" which was prepared for Dr. Robock and Pro- <br />fessor Garnsey and said that these were not for publication <br />at this time but permission had been received to give them <br />to members of the Board. <br /> <br />I <br />
