<br />Water Authority- South Metropolitan Water Supply Study <br />Tape 3, Start/Stop: 6683 - 0000 <br />Tape 4, Start/Stop: 0001 - 0350 <br /> <br />Action: <br /> <br />Patricia Wells and Eric Kuhn recused themselves from this item. A <br />motion was made by David Smith to accept the staff recommendation to <br />approve a grant for $100,000 from the Construction Fund for this study. <br />The motion was seconded by Ray Werner and approved unanimously (7- <br />0). <br /> <br />15g. Water Supply Planning and Finance - Non-Reimbursable Projects - El Paso County <br />Water Authority - El Paso County Water Master Plan <br />Tape 3, Start/Stop: 2380 -3212 <br />Action: A motion was made by Lewis Entz to accept the staff recommendation for <br />a grant in the amount of up to $200,000 from the CWCB Construction <br />Fund be made to the El Paso County Water Authority in support of the <br />preparation of a Water Master Plan for El Paso County, and that the Board <br />would like the CWCB staff to be kept informed on this study, and regular <br />status reports be presented to the Board. The motion was seconded by <br />Patricia Wells and approved unanimously (10-0). <br /> <br />15h. Water Supply Planning and Finance - Non-Reimbursable Projects - National Energy <br />Foundation - Learning to be Water wise Resource Action Program <br />Tape 3, Start/Stop: 3225 - 5147 <br />Action: A motion was made by Eric Kuhn to table this issue until the January 2000 <br />meeting to enable the staff to explore the option of adding Colorado-based <br />information to this program. The motion was seconded by Ray Werner <br />and approved (8-1). <br /> <br />15i. Water Supply Planning and Finance - Non-Reimbursable Projects - Fountain Creek <br />Watershed Forum -Erosion and Flood Protection Investigation <br />Tape 3, Start/Stop: 5147 - 6668 <br />Action: Information item; no action taken, although this item will be brought back <br />to the Board at the January 2000 meeting. <br /> <br />16a. Water Supply Planning and Finance - Special Purpose Accounts Within the CWCB <br />Construction Fund - Emergency Infrastructure Loan Account - Replacement of <br />Funds <br />Tape 4, Start/Stop: 0350 - 0400 <br />Action: A motion was made by Eric Kuhn to accept the staff recommendation to <br />recommend to the General Assembly that the balance in the Emergency <br />Infrastructure Repair Account in the CWCB Construction Fund be <br />restored to the initial $2,000,000 appropriation.
