INTRODUCTION

At the November 6-7, 1995, Board Meeting, approval was given to grant requests for easements
in CWCB's right-of-way along the Chatfield Downstream Channel Improvement Project on a
case-by-case basis. The Board has received a request from the Ron Koch Landscaping Company
for the authorization to construct a 6-inch water supply line within the CWCB's project right-of-
way (ROW). The water line will connect to the City of Englewood's water supply system and
constructed under the city's requirements.

The City of Englewood, Colorado relic:ests that before the City will process the Ron Koch
Company application for water service an approval of a project easement must be secured from
the Board.

The Ron Koch Company requests an easement for the installation of a 6-inch waterrnain (See
Exhibit A). The waterrnain will be constructed in the right overbank area of the CWCB project
ROW. There are a number of CWCB project features and previous grant easements within the
requested easement area.

Use for the Requested Area is for the construction of a water supply line to service a
development proposal. If granted, the easement will ,.!"estrict any future easements/activities
within the CWCB project ROW. j(,of-
