Basin Advisor Coordination

Purpose
Consultant will establish and manage basin advisors in each of the state's eight river
basins to assist in the implementation of the project.

1.4 CWCB Steering Committee Meetings

Purpose
The CWCB steering committee will serve as the primary technical team associated
with the project and as the primary policy-level advisory group,

1.5 Statewide Advisory Group Meetings

Purpose
The purpose of the Statewide Advisory group meetings is to build consensus on a
statewide perspective regarding issues of concern associated with the project. This
group will review and provide information regarding individual basills, and help
guide the development of water supply and demand objectives, and strategies for
achieving those objectives.

1.6 Basin Roundtable Meetings

Purpose
The primary purpose of the basin roundtable meetings is identifying alternatives and
projects in each basin that will function to satisfy the demands in that respective basin
utilizing the supply in that basin as described in Task 10. The basin roundtable
meetings will be open to the public and there will be time for public input, however,
the majority of public comment will be received during the Basin Public meetings as
described in Task 1.7.

1.7 Basin Public Meetings

Purpose
To provide meaningful public comment, involvement, and buy-in on the in-basin and
statewide issues and potential solutions.

1.8 CWCB Board Meetings

Purpose
To report to the CWCB board every 2 months.
