Control Levees Along the Rio Grande by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers

Action: Ray Wright: Resolution that the Board go on record in support of the
Alamosa Flood Control Project, that we direct staff to continue work
closely with Alamosa, that we review policy on flood control
expenditures from the Construction Fund and that we table this now
for further consideration at our November meeting. Also authorize
Chuck to write whatever letters of support for other sources of funding
necessary that might be acquired between now and November. The
resolution was seconded by Jim Lochhead and passed unanimously
(8 -0).
