Action: A motion was made by Ken Salazar to ratify the staff recommendation
that the Board approve the Joint Resolution, sign it, and ask that the
Wildlife Commission also approve and sign the Resolution with
changes as suggested by Ken. In addition, that the Board direct staff
to continue working cooperatively with the Division of Wildlife staff in
developing schedules, planning and funding scenarios for such a
facility, following acceptance of this Joint Resolution by the Board and
Commission. The motion was seconded by Tommy Thomson and
passed unanimously (9-0).

20. Fort Lyon Canal Water Transfer Study

Action: Salazar made the motion that the Colorado Water Conservation Board
authorize the Phase II Study of the Fort Lyon pursuant to the
discussion and that specifics be left up to negotiations between the
consultant and staff. The motion was seconded by Dave Smith and
passed unanimously (9-0).

21. AgricuIturaljMulti-Purpose Water Systems Grant Program

Action: David Harrison moved to recommend that Chuck Lile review this issue
in detail, and table Agenda Item 21 until the next Board meeting. The
motion was seconded by Ray Wright, and passed unanimously
(9-0).
