field trip planned for the Board to review local water projects and issues.
The July meeting dates and locations will be addressed after Peter Evans
confers with individual Board members.

Review and Approval of November 1997 Minutes

Action: The following corrections were made to the November 1997 minutes: On
item 17, before item 17a, the document referred to should be re-identified as
the "revised list of priorities for new projects as presented by Bill Stanton in
his second List of Priorites, dated 11/25/97, which resides in the official
record." Item l7p, remove "Sheftel". Items 17m and l7p, remove the
second "grant" from the motion. Item 23d was addressed under 21 b, rather
than "not addressed." Item 23b, the minutes should show that Janice Sheftel
recused herself. On item 25d, the staff received guidance from the Board
not to pursue this issue this year. 25g had no action taken, rather than not
being discussed. A motion was made by Janice Sheftel to approve the
minutes as corrected. The motion was seconded by Ray Werner and
approved unanimously (7-0). A copy of the corrected minutes will be
included in the March, 1998 Board notebook materials.

Floodplain Management - Floodplain Resolution No. 97-469 - Proposal to Rescind
Previously Approved FPR 97-456

Action: A motion was made by Janice Sheftel that the Board approve FPR No. 97-
469 which will replace the previously approved and designated floodplains
in FPR 97-456. The motion was seconded by Allen Davey and approved
unanimously (8-0).

Floodplain Management - South Platte River Channel Project Right-of-Way Request
Tape I, Start/Stop: 2474 - 2650
Action: An error was found in the text: the word "not" is to be added to the last line
on page I of the Board memo. A motion was made by Allen Davey that the
Board approve the easement for Ron D. Koch and Mark A. Small as shown
in the corrected Board memo. The motion was seconded by Janice Sheftel
and approved unanimously (8-0).
