<br />first step should be to request assistance from the Bureau of <br />Reclamation in examining selected aspects of the West Divide <br />project (see attached letter). I will report back to the Board <br />at the February or April meeting on the results of this analysis. <br /> <br />(2) A feasibility study of the Grand Mesa project, to <br />include consideration of financing problems, has been initiated <br />(see agenda item lOb). <br /> <br />(3) The Fruitland Mesa project is presented for the Board's <br />consideration for funding (see agenda item 7c). <br /> <br />(4) Front-end cost-sharing is proposed for the Narrows and <br />Animas-La Plata projects (see agenda item 7b). <br /> <br />(5) The proposed five year capital investment budget (see <br />agenda item 8) includes funding for the West Divide, San Miguel, <br />Grand Mesa, and Fruitland Mesa projects and front-end <br />cost-sharing for the Narrows and Animas-La Plata projects. <br /> <br />(6) The proposed capital investment budget also includes a <br />category for financing the repair of projects with dam safety <br />problems.
