This $160,000 project involved the reconstruction of the Julesburg Irrigation District's <br />Peterson Ditch control structure at Lodgepole Creek. The improvements involved the <br />construction of a new 12-ft. wide drop chute spillway that drops flood flows into Lodgepole <br />Creek, and the construction of a water control structure on Peterson Ditch. The water control <br />structure incorporates a 3-ft. slide gate to direct water into a cutthroat flume to measure <br />augmentation flows.
