This $270,000 project is the rehabilitation of the Summit Reservoir Dam outlet works and the repair and improvements
to the Summit Reservoir and Irrigation Company's water collection and distribution facilities. The Cortez office of
Natural Resource Conservation Service prepared the construction plans and specifications. Construction for the
second to the last phase of improvements commenced in March of 1999, by Noland, Inc., of Mancos, CO., and was
completed in July of 1999. The final phase of the project has been designed and is currently under construction. The
project is anticipated to be complete by January of 2002.

This project is the rehabilitation of the Ryan Gulch Dam which includes the construction of a new spillway, lining the
upstream face of the dam with a clay liner, sleeving the existing 24-inch outlet pipe, and constructing a new upstream
controlled inlet works. Boyle Engineering, Inc. of Denver has completed the final design plans, which has been
reviewed and approved by the State Engineer's Office. Bids were received to construct the planned improvements, but
were outside the project budget. The Ditch Company is currently obtaining a new design engineer to redesign certain
aspects of the project in an attempt to reduce the overall cost of the job. The project is currently on-hold pending the
outcome of the Ditch Company's redesign of the reservoir.

2. People Ditch Companv People Ditch Diversion Structure Rehabilitation

Project Type: Diversion Structure

The People's Ditch Company historically diverted irrigation water from the South Platte River at an existing diversion
point located approximately 6 miles northwest of the Town of Sterling. This existing diversion structure was
damaged during the flood of 1995 and was entirely washed out in 1997. The proposed project is to construct a new
diversion structure along the Bravo Ditch, therefore eliminating the need for the existing structure, and then construct
approximately 1050 I.f. of 24" pipeline to transport the flow from the Bravo Ditch back to Peoples Ditch. Bravo
Ditch has agreed to allow People Ditch to convey their decree flows through their ditch system and then divert it back
to the existing People Ditch by means ofthe new diversion structure. The project is tentatively on-hold pending
resolution of some specific loan contract requirements.

3. Loveland. City of Green Ridge Glade Reservoir Rehabilitation

Project Yield: 6,000 acre feet
Project Type: Dam enlargement

This $19.2 million project is the enlargement of the Green Ridge Glade Reservoir northwest of Loveland. The project
consists of raising the crest of the existing dam approximately 60 feet, construction of a new concrete labyrinth weir
spillway, and new multi-level intake gate tower outlet structure. The City has contracted with Woodward-Clyde of Denver
to prepare the fmal design and construction contract documents. Environmental studies have been complete and the City is
currently in the process of obtaining the necessary permits to realign the adjacent County Road. The design is scheduled
to be complete by February of2002, with construction to follow in June of2002.
