<br />The CWCB Water Supply Planning and Finance Section has Completed 6 projects in FY 01-02. Currently we have 10
<br />projects under construction and 17 projects in the design phase, .
<br />
<br />The attached spreadsheet summarizes project status including budget construction schedule, and progress to date. During
<br />this current reporting period 2 projects were completed.

<br />1. Ute Water Conservancv District - Plateau Creek Pipeline

<br />This $55,000,000 project ia the replacement of an existing 15-mile pipeline providing water to the Ute Water Conservancy
<br />District. The District provides water to 55,000 people, or mor~ thaIi half of the Grand Valley population. Camp, Dresser,
<br />& McKee, Inc. of Denver has completed final design and construction contract documents for Phase IT of the project.
<br />Phase I of the project, placement of the lower 8,000 linear foot of the pipeline, commenced in February by ERS
<br />Constructors, Inc. of Sedalia, CO. and was completed in May 19991 Phase IT involves the installation of 26,000-fl. of 48"
<br />waterline pipe, 29,500-ft. of 54" waterline pipe, and the constructioh,' of l3,500-ft. of 10' diametet tunnel. A joint venture A

<br />awarded the construction contract for Phase II, at a cost of $44,000;000. Construction of Phase IT commenced in
<br />December 1999 and is approximately 95% complete. The project is tentatively scheduled for completion in January of
<br />2002.

<br />2. Consolidated Mutual Water Companv - Fortune Reserv()ir Dam Construction

<br />Water Source: Clear Creek Project;Yield: 10,000 ac.ft.
<br />Terms of Loan: $20,600,000 @5.50% for 10 yearsproject TYj)e: New Dam Construction

<br />This $30,000,()00 project is the construction of a new 9,000 acre-foot reservoir northwest of Arvada. The project consists
<br />of a 105-foot high, zoned earth embankment, Probable MaxhnumFlood emergency spillway, with a 30-inch diameter
<br />outlet pipe. Tuttle-Applegate, Inc. of Denver and CTLfI'hompson completed the final design plans, which have been
<br />reviewed and approved by the State Engineer's Office. The consttuction contract was awarded to R.E. Monk from
<br />Colorado Springs, Colorado, at a contract price of $15,000,000. the distribution pipeline from the dam to the Company's
<br />treatment plant commenced construction in October 1999 by C011)pany forces. R.E. Monk commenced construction in
<br />March of 2000, with project completion scheduled for March of2\)02. The project is approximately 80% complete.
