<br /> <br />32 <br /> <br />Thereupon, the question of '\he applioation of the Moffatt <br />Tunnel Impro;vement and Development Company to seoure riglrts-of-way <br />for a proposed -tranSllountam diversion -through the Moffatt Tunnel, <br />was disoussed. A report was made by Mr. Stone of the hearing in <br />Washington before the Secretary of the Interior. After suoh <br />disoussion, it was moved by Mr. Aspinall end seoonded by Mr. Foswr <br />that the Board ratify the action of' Mr. Stone in upholding the <br />principle of the so-called "Delaney Resolution" providing for <br />protecti ve measures for present and prospeotive uses of water in the <br />Colorado River Basin. Said motion was unanimously passed. <br /> <br />,1 <br /> <br />j <br /> <br />It was then moved by Judge O'Rourke and seoonded by Mr. Foster <br />that the engineering department of the Board be authorized to oheck <br />on the la.nd olassification studies of the Recl8m.ation Burea.u for use of the <br />members of the Board and the Gove:mdrs' COlDlIlittee of -the Four Upper <br />Basin States. After discussion, suoh motion was duly passed and adopted. <br /> <br />.
