The intent is for project sponsors to satisfY project purposes, <br />but to utilize any flexibility that may cll!1entlv exist, Other options to evaluate include <br />using or moving surplus winter water to meet water demand or fish needs, this will <br />include examining an off channel storage facility somewhere below the Shoshone Power <br />Plant The amount of water available, benefits, legal conslraints, and recommended <br />options will be determined through thc analysis and presented to the Recovery Program. <br />The intent is to provide u.@ an additional 20,000 at for meeting fish flow needs either <br />short-term or under certain hydrologic conditions (above what is currently targcted for <br />coordinated reservoir operations). Following the analysis, agreements and/or operating <br />protocols will be developed, as needed.
