Walker <br />Deputy Director <br /> <br />FROM: Bill McDonala <br /> <br />DATE: January 3, 1983 <br /> <br />SUBJECT: Agenda Item 8, January 6-7, 1983, Board Meeting-- <br />Consideration of proj~ct ~uthorizations <br /> <br />Introduction <br /> <br />We have previously mailed to you brief summaries for six <br />projects: <br /> <br />Buckeye Reservoir (rehabilitation) <br /> <br />Fuchs Ranch Dam (rehabilitation) <br /> <br />Great Western Da~ (rehabilitation and enlargement) <br /> <br />Harper Lake (enlargement) <br /> <br />Hertha Reservoir (enlargement) <br /> <br />Hyannis Dan (new facility) <br /> <br />The Grand Mesa project has been withdrawn from consideration <br />for authorization at this time at the choosing of the Grand Mesa <br />Water Conservancy District. The district has concludea, and I <br />concur, that further work is needed in order to complete a full <br />feasibility st~y for this project. The aistrict expects to <br />formally requt'est funding for the needed adai tional work from the <br />Development ~uthority at its February meeting.
