Transmittal of Final Reports on S.8. 439 Project
Studies

Introduction

The final reports for the Hardin, Una, and Yellow Jacket
oroject studies are in the final stages of preparation. The
reports will be printed during January. The executive summary
for each report has been completed and is ready for transmittal
to the General Assembly.

Discussion

Attached you will find draft transmittal letters to the
General Assembly for each of the three studies. In preparing the
letters, I have taken into account the comments, if any, of the
advisory committee for each study and of the concerned water
conservation or conservancy districts. The letters also reflect
my evaluation of each report's findings and conclusions.

Recommendation

I recommend that the Board transmit to the General Assembly,
under cover of the attached letters, the executive summary for
each of the three studies. The full reports can be transmitted
as soon as they are printed.
