I

I

UV..L:7

COLORADO WATER CONSERVATION BOARD MEETING MINUTES
Student Union Center
Fort Collins, Colorado

May 29, 1968

The meeting was called to order by Mr. Sparks, Director and
Secretary, in the absence of Chairman Stapleton.

MR. SPARKS:

"We will call this regular meeting of the
Colorado Water Conservation Board to order.
Mr. Stapleton, our Chairman, had to cancel out
at the last minute due to the death of a close
friend. Our Vice-Chairman, Mr. Kroeger, also
could not be here since his daughter graduates
today from Durango High School and he wanted to
be present at that occasion. Being the only
officer of the Board present here today, unless
there is objection, I will preside.

I have here a formal document written on
a piece of scratch paper by Mr. Kroeger in
which he says:

'Gentlemen (I am not sure who he is refer-
ring to there)

Please recognize Mr. Frank Sam Maynes as
my proxy at the May 29, 1968, meeting in Fort
Collins.

Signed, Fred V. Kroeger'.

The signature looks genuine and in accord-
ance with our custom we will recognize Mr.
Maynes as proxy for Mr. Kroeger. A quorum is
present and the Board is therefore duly con-
stituted for business.

The first item of business is the approval
of the minutes of the Board meeting of March
27, 1968. Those minutes have been previously
circulated to the members of the Board. Are
there any additions or corrections to these
minutes?"
