"With regard to the third motion--"

"We certainly need additional money for
the purpose of carrying on such a
program. If we obtain the help of
these people and the help of the
gentlemen in the Upper Basin States
involved, in addition to Colorado, I
am sure the States would be very
grateful. "

"I make a motion."

"I second it."

"Being just an action on a specific
program which was put up to the Board
and which was different from this?
If our records show that that policy
has crystallized, I would be very glad
to have a qualification adopted showing
that that was all that -we~ passed upon,
of turning down your particular idea
of national advertising.

"I am in favor of this program as
this has been outlined. I think we
should make it clear that all we
questioned at our previous meeting was
just the idea of the national advertising
campaign and the method of raising the
money. If there is any inconsistency,
then we should take necessary steps to
clarify it."

"As one Chamber member, I feel sure that
I could safely speak for our group which
was made up of Chamber people. As
representatives of taxpayers, we would
certainly be in accord with the action
taken by your group insofar as you were
taking the action with the thought of
the money being raised by the State
Legislature; that our group would
certainly be in accord with that type of
thing and we would go so far as to
commend you for it.
