Changes in the design will almost certainly change the 1993 cost estimate. In
addition, there may be a number of additional costs, such as the construction of new wells
for the facility, which were not included in the 1993 report. CDOW has compiled a list of
species proposed for rearing in the Phase I facility.

Funding
Total funding that CDOW expects to have available this year will amount to about $2.35
million. With a 40 percent match by Construction Fund, Fish and Wildlife Resources
Account funds, the total amount available for Phase I development would amount to
about $3,92 million. Subtracting the $1.1 0 million cost of property acquisition leaves
about $2.82 million at the present time for design and construction. The 1993 cost
estimate for design and construction was $3,52 million.
