<br />, 1 <br />" <br /> <br />NOTICE OF PUBLIC RULE MAKING HEARING BEFORE THE <br />COLORADO WATER CONSERVATION BOARD <br /> <br />SUB.mCT <br /> <br />This is a notice of a public rulemaking hearing before the Colorado Water Conservation <br />Board (CWCB) for consideration of amendments to the Rules Concerning the Colorado Instream <br />Flow and Natural Lake Level Program, 2 CCR 408-2. The amendments (I) implement H.B. 03- <br />1320, which authorizes the CWCB to temporarily acquire water rights for instream flow use <br />under certain conditions and in accordance with specified procedures; and (2) revise Rule 6i" <br />which establishes a procedure for public input into the CWCB's acquisitions of water, water <br />rights and interests in water. The proposed amendments are set forth below. A redlined version <br />of the proposed rules showing changes to the current rules is posted on the CWCB's website at <br />http://cwcb,state.co,us/, A hard copy is available upon request to the CWCB staff (1313 <br />Sherman Street, Room 723, Denver, CO 80203; (303) 866-3534). The CWCB may change the <br />proposed amendments set forth herein prior to or at the rulemaking hearing.
