River Basin Overview - Colorado River - Water Users Assessment of Recovery <br />Program Issues <br />Tape 3, Start/Stop: 3344 - 6146 <br />Tape 4, Start/Stop: 0001 - -745 <br />Action:Following a presentation by several water interest representatives, a motion was <br />made by David Harrison that the Director be requested to communicate with <br />Ralph Morganwick the Board's concerns; the Board shares the concerns <br />expressed by Jim Lochhead in his letter dated September 5, and supports the <br />request for a meeting with Mr. Morganwick; the Board generally shares <br />some of the concerns raised by the water users in their letters dated <br />September 5, 1996, and additionally, the Board is particularly concerned with <br />the Fish and Wildlife Service's reaction to our instream claim for the IS-mile <br />reach, and that the Board would like to meet as soon as possible with <br />Morganwick to get into resolution with that. It was also moved that the 15- <br />Mile Reach Strategy Workgroup be recognized and acknowledged for their <br />work on this issue.
