<br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />COLORADO 1'7ATER CONSERVATION BOARD MEETING MINUTES <br />Glenwood Springs, Colorado <br /> <br />July 18, 1964 <br /> <br />The meeting was called to order by Vice-Chairman Stapleton <br />at 10:00 A. M. <br /> <br />MR. STAPLETON: <br /> <br />"l'1e'll call this regularly scheduled meeting <br />of the Colorado Water Conservation Board to <br />order. I'd like to announce that Governor Love <br />has made two appointments to the Board. Clar- <br />ence E. Burr has been reappointed to a term <br />expiring May 12, 1967. Congratulations, Mr. <br />Burr; we're glad to have you with us again." <br /> <br />MR. BURR: <br /> <br />"Thank you." <br /> <br />MR. STAPLETON: <br /> <br />"And Mr. Craig Goodwin of Gunnison has been <br />appointed for a three-year term expiring May 12, <br />1967, succeeding ltr. Peterson. Mr. Goodwin is <br />out of the state and was unable to be here and <br />I don't believe there is a proxy. <br /> <br />Mr. Owens is here representing Mr. Whitten <br />and in accordance with the usual practices, I <br />am sure we will accept him as proxy for Mr. <br />vThitten. Nice to have you with us." <br /> <br />MR. OWENS: <br /> <br />"Thank you." <br /> <br />MR. STAPLETON: <br /> <br />"The aim of the meeting is to get our busi- <br />ness over by l'...'on and I'd like now to introduce <br />Phil Smith who is in charge of the arrangements <br />here for the week end and maybe, Phil, you can <br />give us a briefing on what we are going to do, <br />and when, and so forth. I thought this was the <br />first meeting we have ever had over in Glenwood <br />Springs and some people that have been on the <br />Board longer than I have concurred, but that's <br />not right 50 you tell us when we were last over <br />here and what we can expect to do over the <br />week end." <br /> <br />MR.
