<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Discussion <br /> <br />The Emergency Infrastructure Repair Loan Account has proven to be an effective <br />tool for the State in response to water supply related emergencies over the last seven <br />years. The need to have loan funds available to water users in a timely manner following <br />such emergencies in Co lorado will continue in the future. <br /> <br />A total of $1,600,000 needs to be transferred from the Construction Fund's <br />unreserved cash into the account to bring the balance back up to $2 million. <br /> <br />Initial Account Appropriated in 1993 $2,000,000 <br />Additional Appropriation in 1997 $ 960,000 <br />Additional Appropriation in 2000 $1.475.000 <br />Total Account Revenue $4,435,000 <br />Total Account Authorizations (including 9/00) $4.035.000 <br />Account Balance $ 400,000 <br />Amount Recommended to be Appropriated in 2001 $1,600,000 <<<<< <br />Account Balance After 2001 Appropriation $2,000,000 <br /> <br />Recommendation <br /> <br />Staff recommends that the Board consider a motion to recommend to the General <br />Assembly that the balance in the Emergency Infrastructure Repair Account in the CWCB <br />Construction Fund be restored to the initial $2 million appropriation by transferring <br />$1,600,000 into the Account from the Construction Fund's unreserVed cash. . <br />
