This afternoon we have a tour immediately
after lunch planned for you. We'll take you
in buses and in cars and jeeps on a tour of the
proposed Animas-La Plata Project. I think
you will find it very interesting. we'll try
and get you back by 4:30 so that those of you
who have other engagements can have plenty of
time to get to them. We want all of you to go
on this tour that can and most of us will go
in the bus and the limousine that is provided
for this. The Board and a few more will use
the jeeps.

vIe have also a planned tour to the Lemon
Dam which is under construction {it's about
20 miles from here} in the morning. The pro-
gram that was handed to you, or mailed to you,
calls for that at 9:00 o'clock. However, in
order to get you back in time to go to the
Navajo Dam Dedication on time, we're going to
move that hour up to 8 o'clock and we would
like to have those of you who wish to go on
this trip tomorrow morning to let some member
of the Southwestern vJater Board know of your
pleasure and we will arrange it. We are going
in private cars on that trip.

area and I might say that in my experience in
the Legislature last year when your school was
having some problems which they hoped would be
resolved favorably, and were, this man did a
yeoman job and I know you appreciate it. I
