<br />., <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />PROPOSED PROCESS <br /> <br />1. STAFF REVIEW.. To initiate staff review of the proposed Injury with <br />Mitigation Pretrial Resolution, the proponent must provide the following <br />information: <br /> <br />Location ot injury - stream(s), segments affected <br />Quantification of injury - amount, timing, frequency <br />Type of water use causing the injury <br />Hydrologic analysis showing why fulllSF protection Is not possible <br />Detailed description of the proposed mitigation including any measures <br />taken to reduce or minimize the injury <br />Statement of how the proposed mitigation will enable the Board to continue <br />to preserve or improve the natural environment of the affected stream in <br />spite ofthe injury <br />Identification and feasibility analysis of any other alternatives considered, <br />including discussion of economic and environmental benefits and <br />consequences of each alternative <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />PROPOSED PROCESS <br /> <br />2. DOW CONSULTATION <br /> <br />Once all required information has been provided, staff will consult with DOW (and <br />entity who recommended ISF appropriation if other than DOW) to determine <br />whether additional field work is required. and identify any scheduling concerns, <br /> <br />Staff will request a recommendation from DOW as to whether the proposed <br />mitigation will enable the Board to continue to preserve or improve the natural <br />environment of the affected stream in spite of the injury. <br /> <br />3. BOARD REVIEW - 2 meeting process <br /> <br />Preliminary Review by the Board scheduled once Staff Review and DOW <br />Consultation have been completed. <br /> <br />Staff works with proponent and interested parties to address concerns raised at <br />first Board meeting. <br /> <br />Final Board Action scheduled for subsequent meeting, <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />3 <br />
