He furth ar said that there hed been some di scus sion among memb6r s
of a committee, eppointed by the' Board to handle this matter, as to
where these records smuld be filed end whet should be done with them.
He explained that 1;r. Patterson had stated thet these records were now
on file in the 0 ffi ce of the Boerd but in no other pIece. He stated
thet, in hi s opinion, the records smuld be file.d in tllnllee places,
Il!lIIle ly: the offic e of the Coloredo Water Conservation Boerd, the of fice
of the State Engineer, and in the Clerk end Recorder' s office in Jackson
County. He al fD recolllm9nded thet the Attorney General of Colorado should
advis e the Uni ted States Attorney General and the Attorney Gener al of
Wyoming thet these records hed been put on fil a in specified offices in
Colorado and were open for inspection. In this connection, he expressed
the belief that the Bd3.rd smuld adopt a resolution directing that the
record s be kept up to date from ye8I' to year and speci fy the places
where such records should be kept on file for inspection by other
interested perties to the North Platte decree.

Tm Director stated thet Jean S. Breitenstain (Chairman). George
J.. Bailey, (;. 1. Patterson end M. C. m.nderlider are members of a
committee to handle this matter end thet it ..ould be appropriete to
ask 1'r. Breitenstein and Mr. Bailey to prepere a resolution end have
it ready for consideration of the Boerd at the meetil"l'; the succeeding
day.

(It appears that altho~h J. M. Dille moved the adoption of
such a resolution end r.;. L. :;utcher seconded the !totion,
sufficient information wes not available to enable its prep-
aration. Accordingly, the resolution waS not prepared in
time fo r consideration end action by the Board; and there-
fore, this item will appear on the agenda for the next Board
meeting for further consideratl. on.)

George Pughe moved that the minutes of the meeting of
the Colorado Water Conservation Board held on Ifarch 10, and
11,1947, be approved as read.

The motion was secomed by Silmon Smith and after a vote
was duly taken vias unanimously carried and declared adopted.

The meting recessed at 4:50 P.M., Thursday, August 14, 1947,
to re-convene at 9'30 A.M., Friday, August 15, 1947.
