Sparks, Director. <br /> <br />Agenda. item No.5, Board Meeting, June 21, 1974 - <br />Establishment of minimum stream flow requirements <br />on a portion of the Arikaree River - Yuma County. <br /> <br />Pursuant to the authority contained in 148-21-3(6), (7), <br />(10) and l48~2l-2(3), Colorado Revised Statutes 1963, as amended, <br />a study of a portion of the Arikaree River in Yuma county has been <br />made by the Division of Wildlife for the Purpose of establishing <br />minimum stream flows to preserve the natural environment to a reason- <br />able degree. <br /> <br />TO: <br /> <br />FROM: <br /> <br />SUBJECT: <br /> <br />The study involved a fourteen and a half mile section of the <br />Arikaree River in Yuma county lying generally between Cope and Beecher <br />Island. <br /> <br />With the concurrence of the Division of Wildlife and the <br />Division of Parks and Outdoor Recreation, it is recommended that the <br />board initiate an appropriation for minimum stream flows on the <br />A~ikaree River in Yuma county as follows: <br /> <br />Western Terminus <br /> <br />Recommended <br />Flow - Terminus <br />Eastern <br /> <br />Eastern Terminus <br /> <br />SW 1/4, SE 1/4, S2, <br />R47W, T4S <br /> <br />NW 1/4, NW 1/4, S5, <br />R46W, T3S <br /> <br />SW 1/4, SW 1/4, S30, <br />R45W, T3S <br /> <br />NW 1/4, NW 1/4, S5, <br />R46W, T4S <br />SW 1/4, SW 1/4, S30, <br />R45W, T3S <br /> <br />1.5 c.f.s. <br /> <br />3.5 c.f.s. <br /> <br />Diversion Point-J.
