certainly appreciated your help in arranging the
trip to Flaming Gorge. I know it was instructive
for members of the Board and interesting. I wish
you would express to the Bureau people and the
contractor's people again our appreciation for
their interest in our coming over there."

"Now we'll ask for questions from the members
of the Board On the Region 4 report. Are there
any questions from members of the audience?
Thank you very much, Bob. We appreciate it.

I don't believe we'll have a report from
Region 5 at this time. We are in receipt of a
letter in which they state:

'We have little to report in addition to what
we have previously given you in connection with
the Closed Basin. v~ submitted the revised draft
of the report to the Commissioner July 26, 1963.'

The next report will be from the U. S. Geolog-
ical Survey and I see Mr. Wood, Mr. Odell and Mr.
Frank Bell, who hasn't been with us for quite a
long while. Frank, glad to see you back."

"Mr. Chairman, members of the Board, and
guests, the work of the Survey during the period
since the last report has been progressing pretty
much on schedule.

In our ground water unit a concentrated effort
has been made on completing the reports that are
in preparation. Two of the reports have been re-
leased. One is on 'Ground-Water Geology and Pump
Irrigation in Frenchman Creek Basin above Palisade,
