<br />requirements of Colorado's water conservation planning statute and the associated guidelines that are being <br />developed by the CWCB. e <br /> <br />A copy of the Guidance Document that is currently in development will be provided to the Board at the May <br />Board meeting. <br /> <br />Reauested Board Actions <br />We will be asking the Board to take the following actions relative to the guidelines which are required by <br />Statute to be adopted by the Board by July 1,2005. <br /> <br />I. At the March Board meeting - review and comment on the Final Draft Guidelines as presented <br />2. At the May Board meeting - adopt the Final Guidelines <br /> <br />Stakeholders and Public Comment <br />Prior to the March Board meeting, the Office has sought comments and direction in the development of the <br />Final Draft Guidelines from various entities external to the CWCB, including: The Attorney General's <br />Office, Colorado WaterWise Council, Colorado Municipal League, the Colorado Special District's <br />Association, Colorado Farm Bureau, Moulsen-Coors, Western Resource Advocates, State Engineers Office, <br />and the Executive Directors Office of DNR These various entities graciously provided time and energy to <br />review drafts of the guidelines and provide comments to the Office that have been incorporated into the Final <br />Draft to the extent feasible. <br /> <br />The public will have a chance to review the Final Draft Guidelines and comment upon them at the Ma_ <br />Board meeting. <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />Flood Protection.
